Catch Up?

So we have recently been busy with the craziness of Summer, but then I went and decided to add two new puppies to our lives. I know what you are thinking what is Summer thinking... Well I am such a sucker for sad stories. This lady rescued these puppies, then we called her about 1 choc. Lab and went to pick them up and she went on about how her son was diagnosed with Cong. Heart disease and had to spend the next 6 weeks at Riley hospital in Indy. Then she began to tell us she had just been diagnosed with Lupus, and was also in the middle of a divorce! What the... So I decided I couldn't possibly leave these two sweet puppies. And I took both. So that's that and now we are taking care of two sweet baby girl choc. Labs. I really do love them but wow it's a lot of work I tell ya! I know random that I start blogging now but I love blogging and never do it. Anywho, we are just getting ready for Ellie to start Kindergarten and enjoying the cooler weather over the last few weeks. If you want to see more pictures I will try and post them on here, but you can also see them on Facebook too.

We are all thankfully doing well and I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful family! Post soon :) maybe??

Catch Up..

So I am here to say that I have totally neglected this blog and as I read back I wish i would have kept up with it. Anywho.. I may try to keep up a little better. We'll see. So the last few months have been great. We haven't had any major stories. Just hanging out, and as for me trying to lose all this baby Cason weight.

As for Baby Cason, he is the light of our lives he is an angel. I could not ask for a bett er little guy.
Ellie is way too smart for her own good, but I am thankful I have her she helps me everyday. I have been trying to make it easier for her. But she insists that she can do it...
Avarie, where do I begin. She is a calm, self entertained, happy little girl. I couldn't ask for a more layed back girl.
Blaine and I are doing well. We have been able to go out the last few weekends with out friends and it's good for us and we have a lot of fun getting to know some of our friends better. Hopefully I will be able to check on and keep up with the blog from now on.
Pictures will also be posted soon.

Life with 3 kiddos !!!

It's so funny to think back to when we first had Ellie and I thought I was pretty sure that I wanted to have 6 kids. Then after Avarie I thought well... maybe 4. NOW.. I am pretty sure 3 is a great number. Don't get me wrong I love kids. Especially my own. But my mind has shifted a bit. It's been great, there are those times when I might just need to be checked into a mental istitution but, everyone has those days right? Well I am just glad that Ellie is such a great help with Avarie and the baby. And Avarie is a sweetheart. Actually she is pretty self-sufficient from what I could tell on Friday. I fell asleep on the couch during Sesame Street pretty sure that she would be fine for a few minutes. Ellie was at school. So Avarie had free reign. When I woke up she was standing on the dishwasher door with sippy cup in hand she had the lid, the cup and the stopper. I asked her what she was doing and she said bob bob dink. Which is translated to her Spongebob drink. She also had the Hannah Montana cd playing on the stereo in the other room. The cheetos on the table, the watter bottle and a towel out and had sprayed the table apparentely trying to clean up. So that's an idea of what is going on. I promise not everyday. I will write more later. Gotta go to bed.

Baby Cason is finally here !

So here's the story of what happened...
As you all might know, I have been trying to have a baby since I knew he was full-term, well Wednesday was that day. My mom arrived last Friday since I was pretty darn sure the baby was coming exactly 3 weeks early which would have been on Saturday. But instead we went to a fall festival and walked around. Then on Monday I was at the Dr's office and he did some sweeping and said I cannot induce you on Tuesday since the baby hasn't come down at all. So I was really bummed out. I had an appt. on Thursday and we were going to evaluate the situation then. So my mom, the kids, and I proceeded to do as much as possible to get the labor on the road we went to the zoo on Monday, Tuesday we went shopping at an outdoor shopping center for a few hours and then on to Wal-mart, Wednesday we were back at the zoo. Well I started some serious contractions in the rain forest at the zoo. We went there at 3:30 and walked around for about 2 1/2 hours. By the time that I was in the parking lot I couldn't walk through my contractions. I called Blaine on the way home and said we have to go the hospital right when we get home, well as you know i am kinda a drama queen and Blaine knows that all to well, so he said ok I'll stop and get some pizza, I think he thought I was trying to get out of cooking once again. But I was truly in labor. We all got home at the same time and 3 mins. later Blaine and I were out the door on our way to the hospital.

We arrived at the hospital at about 6:45 pm and checked into triage and the sent me right into a birthing room and hooked me up to an IV immediately and the the epidural. So at approx. 9:30 I was ready to have my water broken. Well Dr. broke the water and then everyone left the room. We 9:38 I was in total pain and ready to get the baby out. I was yelling "I have to push" There was no one to catch the baby. Blaine ran out in the hall to get the dr and everyone was running like crazy. My doctor barely had his gloves on and said ok push! I did one tiny push and at 9:41 our little boy was born. The surgical tech only had one glove on, the tray of tools wasn't in the room, and my baby was in shock and was barely breathing. The nurses called NICU to come look at Cason but in 5 mins he was normal and pink. All i can say is WHOA!!! It was fast and it was fairly easy. So that's the story.

Cason has been doing very well and as for me I am super tired, but I love being a mom and feel very blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy children. And A great husband, family and friends. I have nothing to complain about. I am BLESSED!

Just Waiting....

So the last couple weeks have gone by super fast. There is no baby here yet but probably sometime soon. Last week we had a false alarm, that turned out just fine and the baby is fine too. My next Dr.'s appt is Friday. I am making bits of progress at each appt. I really want to have the baby but I also want to make sure he's healthy and that my mom is here. She arrives next Friday the 19th and that will be a stress reliever. So for now I am trying to get everything clean and ready, Can we say "NESTING" I don't remember ever feeling this crazy and having 50 million things going through my mind but in all reality all I need is to set up the pack and play, clean all the bathrooms, mop the kitchen and foyer floor, catch up on laundry, wash all the kids bedding go through closets, dust, finish Cason's room, organize the trainwreck under our stairs that has all the kids' toys in there, organize my laundry room, organize my closet, make a few trips to goodwill, oh and get diapers and a some flannel to make Cason some recieving blankets and burp cloths. So Blaine tells me tonight oh you don't have that much to do just go to bed, in my mind I am thinking he is crazy! But guess what I am sitting here blogging instead, I am such a procrastinator. I will start all these things as soon and my labor starts.

In the mean time here are some fun pictures of the last few weeks.

An eventful month!

The last few weeks have gone by very quickly we started the month be searching for a bigger car which has been a heated discussion at the Dart's for the last 8 months. And starting in June we were trying to sell our Trailblazer privately but twice the sell fell through and I was so over trying to sell it. So we saved a little and started looking. Well Blaine was convinced that we were buying a minivan. Well I had other ideas. I had been basically drooling over a Jeep commander ever since I saw them. Well we have test drove them about 5 times and I found one that was a great deal. So we went down and tried to put the double stroller in it. Did it fit NO WAY! The salesmen knew I wanted it so he tried to maneuver the stroller but the back wouldn't close and I was trying to convince Blaine that we could make it work, but there was no way. So the only other choice on the lot was a Town and Country and the one that we were considering was pretty darn nice and it was loaded with every option possible, that was my deal if I was going to drive this thing I wanted it to have everything.. Well I happened to be researching and found a Nissan Armada, we went and checked it out and loved it. Super Nice, and that's what we ended up getting Here is a Picture of my beautiful new car. The one that we bought is tan, I am so excited that the hunt is over. It seats 8 adults comfortably, we are installing a DVD player and we love all the room.

Ok so onto other important things, Blaine had hernia surgery last Thursday and he is feeling somewhat better has returned to work despite what I told him. I begged him to take it easy but I think he was going nuts at home. Which if you know Blaine he is not a patient person. And all of the time that the kids and I aren't held accountable for drives him crazy since he is used to accounting for every minute of his day. But I figured he should know that my time is accounted for just check the bank statement he pays me very well.haha... In all reality he is doing good.
As for me I am stinkin tired due to Blaine's surgery he is not able to lift more than a milk carton. Which he doesn't even like milk so...?? just kidding. He is not very much help with the nightly things that I am used to having him do for me like bathing the kids or just taking them outside so I can breath for 5 seconds. So a week of that has exhausted me. But I need him to get better fast so I can have the baby and have his help. The baby is good I am good my next Dr.'s appt is next week so we will see what the status is. Ok enough blabbering gotta go to bed.

A look inside...

Yesterday we had the wonderful opportunity to have a look at our new little boy, Cason! My doctor's office was testing out a new 4-D machine and we happened to be one of the 3 people that they called to be a guinea pig to test it out. So we were able to see the baby up close. From what we could see Cason definetly has the kids' nose and Blaine's chin and Very chubby cheeks. How amazing it was to see the baby, I could watch that all day. It was like a sneak preview. We also recieved a DVD of the pic's I will try to post those as well.

The Last picture confirms IT'S A BOY!!

Happy Birthday to me... Happy Birthday to me...:)

Yesterday was my birthday, and it was a typical day in the life of the Dart's. I had a lot of phone calls which was great to know that all those the people thought of me. Ellie was so excited for my birthday she woke up and came in our room and said, " Mom, do you remember what today is?" and at first i didn't really but I said "what is today?" She said, MOOOOMMM it's your birthday!!!" I thought oh yea it is isn't it. Wow it's just not that exciting anymore it's not like I was going to Chuckee cheese or something. Ok I really shouldn't complain me and the kids stayed in our pajamas until lunchtime. We read books, watched spongebob, and the went to Mcdonald's for chicken nuggets. So how does that sound? Just like a birthday party for a 26 year old ? But really I love those days with the kids when there is not anything to do. We can just play and hang out. And they make me happy just watching them and they get so excited and help me to remeber all the things I should be thankful for. I love my girls. So when Blaine got home we went to dinner at O' Charleys where kids eat free what could be better. Then we went to Ellie's soccer practice. I really am thankful for my fun family and having such beautiful kids, and a wonderful husband who tries harder than he should have to, just to make me happy. So all in all I am Lucky just to have a family to be with on my birthday.
